Annual physicals in Sunrise and Coconut Creek

Anling Health offers physical examinations and preventive care visits at both Broward County offices. Meet with a board-certified family nurse practitioner to review your health history, discuss your concerns and plan appropriate next steps.

Make time for your overall health

A physical is an opportunity to discuss your health beyond a single immediate concern. Your history, current medications, family history and personal goals help your provider decide what to review. The examination, screenings and tests appropriate for you depend on your individual circumstances.

Our preventive services include annual physicals, men’s and women’s wellness exams, cancer screening discussions, and work or school physicals. Ask which visit type fits your needs when you contact the office. If you also have a new symptom or an ongoing condition to address, mention it when scheduling so the team can discuss the appointment and potential charges.

Preventive care does not mean every patient needs the same test panel. Your provider can explain which tests are recommended, what they are intended to answer and how you will review the results.

What to bring and what to ask

Bring useful information

  • Your medication and supplement list, including doses.
  • Relevant past test results and screening records you already have.
  • Questions about your health, family history or changes since your last visit.
  • Any school or employer form and its submission deadline.

Ask before arriving

  • Which appointment type should I request?
  • Does my specific insurance plan participate, or what is the current self-pay rate?
  • Will tests or additional services be billed separately?
  • Do I need any preparation for a planned lab draw?

If you are new to the practice, our first-visit guide explains how to choose an office and arrange a callback. For school clearance, titers, TB screening and nursing preceptorship inquiries, see student health services.

Labs, follow-up and payment

Both Anling Health offices offer in-house blood draws and EKGs. Lab work is billed separately from a self-pay visit. Confirm the cost and any preparation instructions before a test. Fasting draws are scheduled in the morning; the office can tell you whether the specific test ordered for you requires fasting.

Our self-pay page lists the practice’s published visit and EKG rates. It does not promise that every preventive service, form or test is included in one fee. Confirm the scope and current price of your planned visit with the office. If using insurance, ask about your plan’s benefits and any separate charges.

Before leaving the visit, ask when to expect results, how the office will contact you and whether a follow-up appointment is needed. A continuing primary care relationship helps keep prior findings and next steps in one conversation.

Questions about physicals

Do I need to fast for my physical?

Not every physical or blood test requires fasting. Ask the office about your planned tests and follow the preparation instructions you receive. Fasting lab draws take place in the morning.

Can you complete my school or work form?

The practice offers work and school physicals. Tell the office what the form requires before scheduling, bring it with you and mention the deadline. See student health for more information.

Where can I arrange a physical?

Contact our Sunrise office at 954-900-8981 or our Coconut Creek office at 954-800-7889. A callback request is not a confirmed appointment; the office will confirm availability with you.
