What we provide for clearance
Annual student physical exam
A physical with vital signs and vision screening for school or clinical-program requirements. Tell the office what your form requires before scheduling, then bring it to the visit. Your provider determines what can be completed and whether additional tests or documentation are needed.
Routine blood work
Drawn in our office and used to monitor cholesterol, blood sugar, liver and kidney function, and complete blood count.
Immunity titers
Blood tests used to assess immunity to MMR (measles, mumps, rubella), Varicella (chickenpox) and Hepatitis B. Bring the exact titer names your program requests, along with any vaccination records, so the provider can discuss the appropriate tests.
Tuberculosis (TB) screening
Ask about the PPD skin test or QuantiFERON-TB Gold blood test listed among our student services. Bring your program’s required method and confirm availability with the office. Your provider will discuss which test is appropriate for you.

Plan time for TB screening and results
A PPD skin test needs a return visit to have the result read by a trained healthcare professional 48–72 hours after placement, according to CDC guidance. Arrange that return visit with the office before the test is placed. If your program specifies two-step testing, tell the office when you schedule.
A TB blood test uses a blood sample and does not need a return visit to read a skin reaction. Laboratory processing and any follow-up still take time. Confirm your program’s requirements, the available test, the current cost and the expected result date with the office.
For titers and other blood work, turnaround depends on the panel and laboratory. Ask how results will reach you and whether the physical form must wait for them.

Both offices close for lunch from noon to 1:30 PM. Fasting draws are in the morning only; ask whether your particular order needs fasting. The office confirms appointment and return-visit times. Please discuss medical details directly with staff.

Preceptorship site for nursing and nurse practitioner students
Anling Health accepts nursing and nurse practitioner students for supervised clinical hours in a working primary care practice — real patients, real charting, and mentorship from board-certified providers who remember what the training was like.
- Supervised primary care experience at both offices
- One-to-one mentorship from a DNP-prepared preceptor
- Exposure to preventive care, chronic disease management, in-house lab and EKG
Placement is limited and eligibility depends on your program’s affiliation requirements. Call the Sunrise office and ask for the office supervisor, our main contact for prospective students. Discuss your program, learning goals, required clinical hours and preferred dates so we can review fit and availability together.

The Sunrise office supervisor is the main contact for prospective nursing students and NPs, including those interested in NP Bootcamp. A phone conversation lets us discuss your goals, program requirements, available opportunities and what to expect from our preceptors.

Before you book
How quickly can I get my results?
Turnaround depends on the panel and laboratory. Ask the office for the expected result date and how to obtain your documents. A PPD skin test requires a return visit 48 to 72 hours after placement. See TB screening timing and share your school deadline before scheduling.
What should I bring?
Your program’s clearance form, any immunization records you already have, photo ID, and the name of the person or portal the results must be sent to.
Do you take students without insurance?
Yes — self-pay is welcome and the rates are published on our pricing page. Lab panels are quoted separately; ask before your draw.
Which office should I choose?
Choose the office that is easier to reach and confirm your required services with its team. Sunrise lab draws start at 8:30 AM; Coconut Creek starts at 9:00 AM. Use the office phone numbers to arrange your visit.
